Caption: When the Fred Sanders Co. decidet to bet on its fudge sauce to hellp pull it out of bankruptcy, Sanders called on the Jarrins for help. BUD JARRIN and JO-ANNE are package designers whose work to upgrade the visual of Hygrade meats, Faygo pop and Vlasic pickles was followed by increased sales for each of those Detroit-produced products. Many promotion dollars are going into package design today. Sanders executives decided the company, operating under the protection of Chapter 11 of the federal bankruptcy law, could make a significant profit by aggressively marketing its fudge toppings line in supermarkets.
