Caption: Amram Issac, high priest of an ancient people , the Samaritans, stands beside the scroll of scripture which he claims is the oldest book in the world. he says the book is 3,627 years old, dating back to 1,700 B.c. The scroll of parchment contains the first five books of the old Testament, called the Torah or Pentateuch. only 350 Samaritans still survive, most of them in Nablus, a little town situated on mountainside in Jordan about 40 miles north of Jerusalem.
