Caption: Washington, Oct. 24 --Calls Article 'Malicious'-- House Speaker JOHN W. McCORMACK, addressing newsmen in his Capitol office today, denounces Life Magazine for "a malicious article." The magazine's charges included saying a Washington lobbyist got $5,000 to exert influence in a tax case while in the Massachusetts Demoxrat's private office chair. It said McCormack was not present at the time, but he was "more than naively involved in whatever took place in his office.".
