Caption: PACIFIST PASTOR IN INCOME TAX TROUBLE -- The Rev. Maurice F. McCrackin, grey-haired pastor of West Cincinnati St. Barnabas church, has been indicted on a charge he failed to answer a summons to discuss his income taxes with Internal Revenue Service agents. But he had to be carried bodily into U.S. District Court here for arraignment on the charge, refused to stand, enter a plea or accept court-appointed attorneys. He has refused to pay part or all of his income taxes in the past 10 years because they pay for weapons of war and he believes war is greatest evil. He says he will not cooperatiw with court officials on the charge.
