Description
Caption: STAR'S BOY FRIED PLEADS INNOCENT TO DRUNK CHARGE--Actor's Agent Sid Luft (right), 35, boy friend of Actress Judy Garland, arrives at municipal court today to face arraignment on charges of drunk driving and carrying a concealed weapon. He pleaded innocent. The charges grew from an automobile accident Luft had Saturday night. The actress was at the scene, but said she was not riding in the car with Luft. Police found a gun in his car and quoted him as saying he had been drinking beer. At left is Luft's attorney, Robert B. Agins. In 1978 Sid Luft sued David Begelman, Judy Garland's former manager, for ripping her off.
