Caption: Kevin Loughery, who became coach of the record-losing Philadelphia 76ers, National Basketball Association team only last January, has quit to become coach of the New York Nets of the American Basketball Association. The 76ers wound up the season with a 9-73 season record. Loughery never actually signed with the 76ers but had verbally agreed to serve as player-coach for the next two seasons.
