The chart-topping success of the title song for the ?Footloose? movie soundtrack, which Kenny co-produced, spurred him on to produce and record a solo album of his own dubbed ?Vox Humana.? Since it was released five months ago, ?Vox Humana? has become Loggins?s first commercial failure since he split with Jim Messina. ?It hasn?t been a successful record ? it is, however, my best record,? Loggins reported.
