Caption: New York, Feb 6-- Liquori wins 1,000 YARD RUN-Villanova's Marty Liquori breaks the tape at New York's Madison Square Garden Friday night to win the 1,000-yard invitational run at the 51st annual Knights of Columbus meet. Liquori, winner of the wannamaker mile in the same arena a week ago, was timed at 2minutes 7.6 seconds. He finished five yard ahead of second place Juris Luzins.
