Caption: Former Vice President Hubert Humphrey chatted with students as he left his office in Old Main on the Macalester College campus in St. Paul Friday. Humphrey, who begins teaching there next week, will deliver a keynote address for the college?s annual political emphasis week. Humphrey will also have teaching duties at the University of Minnesota where his schedule calls for three days of seminars and lectures every other week.
