Caption: James Howell, who two weeks ago was a clerk totalling time-cards at CBS TV City, Hollywood, becomes James Howell, actor, as of Sat., June 2. He got his "big break" when a talent scout submitted his name to producer Arthur Schwartz who was casting for "A Bell for Adano," CBS TV's June 2 "Ford Star Jubilee" (9:30-11:00 PM, EDT). Called to audition, the 24-year-old won himself a new career when he landed a featured role opposite stars Barry Sullivan and Anna Maria Alberghetti in the hour-and-one-half color musical. Now film and other TV offers are coming in. "Ford Star Jubilee" is sponsored by the Ford Division of the Ford Motor Company.
