Caption: Troy, Michigan teacher returns to work after drugging - Robert Heffernan said Monday he was apprehensive returning to Troy Athens High School but added that "it was time to get back working with students." He had been on paid medical leave since a student slipped LSD in his coffee in December 1990. "I'm here because I'm well," he said. "It was time to have a normal flow of life." For the rest of the school year, he will work in the school library and help students individually with writing.
