CAPTION: Governor George Romney got "Governor's Day" at the Michigan State Fair off to a really early start Saturday. Arriving about 6 a.m. -- five hours after flying in from Washington, D.C. -- he roused the still-sleeping Grand Champion Steer "Pawnee Mixed 2nd." He showed the amazed farmers he knew just how to do it, with a slap on the rump..
