CAPTION: NEW HABITS FOR SISTERS OF MERCY -- For 135 years nuns of the Sisters of Mercy have worn the same severe black habits, but this is being changed and the new garb will be ready next summer. At left Sister Mary Albert, Cincinnati provincial, wears the original habit, while nun at right appears in new garb, and one in center wears hospital habit. The new habit will be dark navy blue weave with a white sharkskin collar and a one-piece semi-scapular attached to a cloth belt. The calf length skirt will be flared and black hose and either black leather pumps or oxfords will be worn..
