CAPTION: New York City--Father Glad He Slew Son----Louis Greenfield, right, a prosperous milliner, shown with a detective at Kingsbridge police station, Jan. 12, as Greenfield was booked on a charge of homicide for allegedly killing his 17-year-old imbecilic son by holding a chloroform-soaked cloth over the youth's nose. He then summoned the superintendent of the apartment house in which he lived, asking him to call police. Later, under police questioning, he lost his composure and threatened to kill himself. For a moment he watched a police squad attempt to revive his son and commented, "I hope you don't succeed.".
