CAPTION: SUBBED FOR AILING PRESIDENT -- Vice President Nixon is interviewed by a reporter on his arrival home from a state dinner at the White House where he was the escort of the First Lady, substituting for President Eisenhower who was confined to bed with what was described as "a chill." The vice president said "nothing at all has been discussed" to indicate he might substitute today for the President in foreign policy talks with King Mohammed V of Morocco.
