CAPTION: (CX1) CHICAGO, May 1 -- NIXON ANSWERS OPPOSITION -- Answering a Democratic challenge, Vice President Richard Nixon tells a news conference in Chicago today that he has no intention of divorcing himself from the record of the Eisenhower administration. Asked about the possibility he might not be selected by the Republican National Convention as its standard bearer, he answered: "The odds are not great. But it's possible."
