CAPTION: Former Vice President Richard M. Nixon waves before boarding a plane at New York's Kennedy Airport today for London on a global "fact-finding mission." With him is his wife, Pat, who came to see him off. Nixon said a pause in the bombing of Vietnam would prolong the conflict and added he favored President Johnson's stand over U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy's.
