Caption: Norman Tishman Dies--Builder Norman Tishman died today in New York City. He was 65. Tishman has been the biggest single landlord in Los Angeles, was the builder of Manhattan's first air conditioned office building and was the re-constructor of New York's Park Avenue. He died one day after Port Of New York Authority chose his firm to supervise construction of the $575 million World Trade Center whose twin 110-story towers would be tallest in world.
