Titov, Soviet cosmonaut who circled the world 17 times, smiles broadly and waves to welcomers as he and his wife, Tamara, leaves New York's Idlewild Airport tonight. Titov flew in from Moscow on a Russian turbo-prop airliner to a big welcome at the airport. He and his wife will go to Washington where Titov will attend the International Space Conference on Thursday.
