Caption: BALTIMORE, MD., Sept. 19--DEVELOPS COMMON COLD VACCINE--Dr. Winston H. Price, a 34-year-old Johns Hopkins scientist shown at work in his laboratory says he has developed an effective vaccine for the common cold and that he has developed a vaccine which, in controlled tests on more than 400 persons, prevented colds caused by the virus in 80 percent of the cases. Immunity is produced from two shots of the vaccine, the second following the first by four weeks, Dr. Price said.
