Caption: Special services of consecration for the new Franklin Community Church, Franklin, will extend over the [illegible] Sundays. The steeple of this early American style church rises 100 feet over the village green. Church was organized in 1840. Since 1861 the congregation has worshiped in the old building two blocks from the new edifice. Minister is the Rev. Robert J. Searls.
