Description

Caption: Hollywood, Nov. 26--Bishop Drops Out of Race--Comedian Joey Bishop tells his audience that his ABC television talk show didn't have the ratings to stay in "this kind of three-way race," during taping session in Hollywood Tuesday night. Bishop left a couple minutes later, saying he was going home to have dinner with his wife. The reference of the three-way race was to competing shows by Johnny Carson, NBC, and Merv Griffin, CBS. The show Bishop taped Tuesday night will be telecast tonight.
