Caption: LOS ANGELES, Dec. 25--Sanders Withdraws from Texas A&M Consideration--Football coach Henry (Red) Sanders of UCLA, who earlier in the day had withdrawn his name from consideration by Texas A&M, opens Christmas packages with his wife, Ann, at their home last night. Sanders had been a leading candidate, along with Frank Leahy, for the head coaching job at the Texas school. Los Angeles fans were jubilant that the highly successful UCLA coach was staying put.
