By Stephen Jones, Free Press staff writer.For 40 years, the rich voice of Charles Park reverberated across the airwaves of Michigan radio, including nearly three decades as the most distinctive announcer at the state's most powerful station, WJR-AM. "He was one of the great radio pioneers and one of the great radio voices," WJR personality J.P. McCarthy said Wednesday.
