Description
Caption: Britian's Prime Minister Harold Wilson enjoys a smoke and a silver tankard of beer in the bar of the Bernard Arms in Great Kimble, Buckinghamshire, Sunday. Wilson's 70-minute lunch-hour drinking session came just a day before he relinquishes the powerful reins of prime minister, a post he voluntary resigned. Wilson walked to the pub from nearby Chequers, but drove back to his country home for lunch. While Wilson was lunching, Foreign Secretary James Callaghan was working on his first moves in office, confident that he will succeed Wilson. He is confident he will win a third ballot among Labor members of Parliament Monday.
