1976 Press Photo Elmwood Cemetery Detroit Chapel Fire

Caption: The burnt remains of the chapel at Elmwood Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan. The chapel was burned by vandals in a raid on the cemetery. In addition to the fire, the vandals turned over 150 gravestones. The chapel was 120 years old with only the limestone walls still standing.
