1960 Press Photo bull elk cows native diet

Caption: This Bull Elk has taken up residence among the dairy cows in the pasture of the Ray Faulker Farms near Tower, Mich. So far, nobody has been able to convince him he has made a mistake. The young bull may have been driven from the main herd by an old bull. Farmer Tucker says the elk has never been observed eating hay and is presumably sticking to his native diet.
