Caption: Los Angeles, June 20 -- Winchell Threatens to Quit -- Walter Winchell, left, tells radio disc jockey Bob Cowen last night in Hollywood that he wants to quit as a columnist for the Hearst organization because, he says, some of his criticisms of communism and the Kennedy administration have been deleted by syndicate editors. "I'll be kicking away $150,00 a year but I'll do it," Winchell told a reporter today.
