She made three features she calls "forgettable," not long after she graduated from high school.GETTING INTO A SOAP: Greer was asked to audition for the role of Maggie Shelby on "Ryan's Hope" in 1983 but, she says, "It called for someone much younger. But, I've found this industry is a numbers game, the more auditions and readings you do, the better your chances are." Cali Timmons got the role but the producers called Greer back later to audition for Sydney Price.
