Caption: SPEAKING OUT FOR THE ERA - U.S. Rep. Martha Griffiths, D-Mich, appeared at a news conference in Columbus Tuesday night before testifying before an Ohio legislative committee considering the women's equal rights amendment. Mrs. Griffiths sponsored the resolution in Congress. Ohio could be the 29th state to ratify the amendment which would prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex.
