Caption: Talk about bad luck. Billy Eckstine, 77, has just been sprung from and LA jail cell after a two-day stay. The singer, most big as MR. B, in the 40s and 50s, says he's pinched every time he hits the city by his estranged wife, Carol, who fingers him for non-support. The in Salina, Kan., Eckstine was hospitalized for apparent stroke after performing at a country club. He was listed in fair to good condition and was expected to be moved out of intensive care, said a hospital spokeswoman, Eckstine's manager, Lary Gengo, said Eckstine was eager to go home to . . . Las Vegas.
