Caption: (NY21-March 1)--Britian Switching To Decimal Currency--James Callaghan, Britian's Chancellor of the Exchequer, leaves his 11 Downing Street headquarters in London today en route to the House of Commons where he announced the nation will switch to the decimal system of currency in February, 1971. He told Commons also that substantial progress has been made in bringing Britian's foreign trade into balance but "major problems still remain."
