Description
Caption: Sid Caesar is a hood in Roman collar in "Anything Goes" at Music HallWorld War II-era moviegoers learned from a young, unknown monologist that Allied fighter pilots always smiled and German pilots always showed their teeth. That was in "SPARS and Tars." The unknown monologist turned out to be Sid Caesar who, with Imogene Coca, headed "Show of Shows," the hottest thing on television in the black and white days. In Cole Porter's "Anything Goes" at the Music Hall, Caesar plays a public enemy who strives to improve his rating on the FBI wanted list disguised as a priest. Details in Theater below.
