Caption: Houston, Tex., Sept. 11--In Shape--Everett C. Thomas, 47, the heart transplant patient that was the first to go back to work, Tuesday as he donned a helmet and tossed a few passes. Thomas received his new heart on May 3, at St. Luke's Hospital. Thomas, a self proclaimed avid football fan, was on hand to watch the University of Houston go through its work outs.
