Being able to brush his teeth without help is one of his goals he's worked hard to attain. He is now trying to get in and out of bed by himself, shave and pack his own lunch. At left, Guernsey looks out of his bedroom window after a day of work. "Sometimes I'm a loner," he says. "I like to be by myself to think.".
