Caption: Helicopter, Julie Spina, Chrysler Hamtramck plant, 1 1/2 x 5 3/4", Up, Up and Away, A helicopter made easy work of the installation of a massive air-conditioning system at Chrysler Corp.'s Hamtramck assembly plant. Three half-ton exhaust stacks like the one being locked into place and three massive motors were hoisted up in less than an hour. The helicopter, which rents for about $3,000 a day, is used in areas that are not accessible to cranes.
