1965 Press Photo Sen. Robert A. Taft D.S.Tower Painting

Caption: Dollar sell tower on the Capitol grounds in Washington as a memorial to the late Republican Sen. ROBERT A. TAFT of Ohio were announced June23. This Drawing of the 100-foot high tower was released by the Robert A. Taft memorial foundation, which would raise the money for the memorial and present it to congress as a gift. The tower would have 25 bells, with provision for playing them manually or automatically.
