1976 Press Photo Dodgeson Wonderland Alice Liddell

Caption: Alice Pleasance Liddell, along with Lorina, Harry, and Edith, were the children of Henry Liddell, an eminent Victorian and Dean of Christ Church. Alice and her sisters spent a summer afternoon with a 30-year-old Oxford mathematics don, the Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgeson. The book entitled "Alice in Wonderland" is the result.
