Caption: JERSEY CITY, N.J., Jan. 1 -- COLUMNIST FREED -- Marie Torre, radio and television columnist of the New York Herald Tribune, was all smiles as she left Hudson County jail today after serving 10 days on a contempt charge. Miss Torre, 34, was jailed for refusing to reveal the source of a story she wrote about singer Judy Garland. Miss Garland is suing Columbia Broadcasting Company for remarks an undisclosed CBS executive reportedly made about her to Miss Torre. The columnist faces another jail term is she continues to remain silent. White gowned matron escorts Miss Tore.
