Caption: Los Angeles, March 4 -- Carole Cries During Recess -- Defendant Carole Tregoff puts a hand to her face, left, as she breaks down and cries briefly during a recess in her murder trial in Los Angeles today. At right she dabs at her eyes with a handkerchief as the brief crying spell ends. Carole broke down, apparently from the strain of waiting for court to resume. At today's session, prosecutor Fred N. Whichello presented the prosecution rebuttal arguments.
