Caption: Wayne Sternberg has been appointed president of NBD Commerce Bank, NBD Bancorp's Lansing-based affiliate. He succeeds David Huhn, who was named director of NBD's Macomb Regional Bank Center in Warren.Sternberg joined NBD Commerce Bank as assistant vice-president in 1981. He was appointed second vice-president in 1982 and vice-president and head of lending in 1983.
