Caption: Washington, Jan. 12--Tells of New Fighting Manpower Goal--Assistant Secretary of Defense Anna M. Rosenberg tells senate armed services committee today that President Truman had increased the June 30 manpower goal for the nation's fighting foces by about 260,000. She testified that Mr. Truman had approved raising the armed forces strength to 3,362,205 by that date or "at the earliest possible moment".
