Description
Caption: New High Rise For Old Yard-Sherlock Holmes would drop his calabash pipe and Dr. Watson would gape and stammer if they got a look at the new Scotland Yard. The last time they had a case to solve they visited the yard in its turreted Victorian complex fronting the Thames, In London. But now the Metropolitan Police as Scotland Yard is listed, have a 20-story concrete and glass structure a half-mile away from the old. The move for the yard, with its millions of secret records and spy files, has taken 10 days.
