Bob and Johnny are getting ready for WXYZ's new variety show, "Quittin' Time" to be heard over station WXYZ each weekday afternoon from 4:00-4:30 PM. The show will feature Johnny Slagle as emcee, the music of Phil Brestoff and his Steven Man Combo, a twin piano team, Jack Franz at the organ, songs by George Ball and Bob Longwell as announcer and either heckler. "Quittin' Time" specials include a poem of the day, Dedication Time, a daily Hymn and drama in the lighter vein by the Quittin' Time Dramatic Society.
