Caption: Fort Campbell, Ky., June 29, 1959--Soldier's Farewell--Gen. Maxwell D. Taylor, who retires as Army chief of staff tomorrow, shakes hands today with paratrooper veterans he led in World War II as Commander of the 101st Airborne Division. At left is Maj. Gen. W.C. Westmoreland, present commander of the Screaming Eagles. Taylor flew here to review the 101st prior to his retirement.
