Description
Caption: United Nations, N.Y., June 24 - Security Council Debates Censure of Israel - U.S. Ambassador George Bush, left, gestures Saturday during U.N. Security Council debate on a resolution that would censure attacks made by Israel on Lebanon. At right, Soviet Union's Ambassador Yakov Malik listens with hands folded, during debate. The resolution - drafted by delegates of Britain, France, Belgium, and Italy, during the second meeting in two days - was reported to fall short of direct condemnation of Israel, which Lebanon sought.
