Caption: AN UNUSUAL ACCIDENT put Chase Church, three-year-old son of Senator Frank Church, of Idaho, in the hospital at Washington. Chase was eating dinner and stabbed himsel in the eye with his fork. Two-hour emergency surgery fixed him up so well that doctors say his vision will not be impaired. 6/9/91 WASHINGTON: Chase Church, 3, son of Sen. Frank Church, D-Idaho, is shown in Childrens Hospital 6/8 after he underwent 2-hour emergency surgery for an ey injury suffered when a fork slipped at dinner 6/7 and stabbed him in the eye. Doctors said his vision would not be impaired, and he probably would be out of the hospital in 5 days.
