Description
Caption: HAPPY WITH FALCONS WIN-- Atlanta Falcons head coach Norm Van Brocklin gestures during a Tuesday news conference where he discussed his teams' Monday night victory over the Minnesota Viking in Atlanta. The key touchdown in the game for the Falcons came when Bob Lee had to scramble from the Viking rush on a busted pass play then finally lofted a 39-yard pass to Eddie Ray for the TD. Commenting on the play, Van Brocklin said, ?It was like money from mother when you didn't write for it." Van Brocklin says overconfidence and the disappearance of the hunger motive have all but wiped out their hopes of making the National Football League playoffs.
