Caption: Retiring U.S. ambassador to South Viet Nam, MAXWELL D. TAYLOR, spent Sunday relaxing outside his quarters at Fort DeRussy, along Waikiki Beach. Taylor read from a book, "The Elements of Metaphysics," while beachgoers walked along the ocean front, unaware of who he was. Taylor was to leave Monday night for Washington to make final reports to Pres. Johnson.
