She recalls, "After World War One everybody thought we were going to the dogs, but we didn't. I am optimistic about the future. It's a young person's country." She can't accept all of the changes she's lived through, however: "I don't know about this Ms. business. God made you to have children.. I feel sorry for people who don't. It's not natural.".
